Home Remedies for Children's TEMPER TANTRUMS
- If your child throws tantrums on a daily basis there
may be a dietary trigger.
- Avoid giving all processed and sugar-laden foods for
at least 2 weeks to see if there is any improvement.
- Chocolate seems to spark off difficult behaviour in
some children. If you suspect this to be the case, avoid giving all products containing chocolate, such as chocolate cereals, drinks, sweets, biscuits, cakes and so forth. You might have a couple of turbulent days, but improvement should be apparent very soon.
- Chamomile soothes the nervous system which helps
to allay temper tantrums and restores calm after the storm. Add Chamomile tincture to a glass of fruit juice or milk.
- A few drops of Chamomile essential oil in the
evening bath soothes the nervous system.
