||Home Remedies for Children's SLEEPING PROBLEMS
- After a bath or just before bedtime, try to establish
a routine of giving your child a gentle massage with a
soothing aroma therapy oil.
Babies are much easier to massage after a bath than
are young children, who are much more bouncy at
this time. It may be best to wait until your child has
settled down for a bedtime read before giving him a
gentle back rub or hand and foot massage.
For young babies: use Chamomile in a base of Almond
For babies over 1 year old: you can also use
For children over 6 years old: combine Chamomile
and Geranium together.
- Add these essences to a warm bath to help your
child to unwind and to induce feelings of calmness.
You can also use them in a vaporizer in the bedroom
and/or place a few drops on a tissue and tuck it
under your child's pillow.
