Home Remedies for Children's BRONCHITIS AND BRONCHIOLITIS
- Try to include plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables
into your child's diet. Use watercress and garlic in cooking, incorporating into thick vegetable soups and other dishes.
- Add marjoram and oregano to dishes; these herbs
help to relieve bronchitis.
- Give freshly squeezed lemon juice diluted with hot
water and sweetened with honey.
- Use Lavender or Chamomile essences in a vaporizer
placed in the bedroom overnight. Gently rub your child's chest with your chosen essence diluted in a carrier of Almond oil.(For babies and children over 6 months old: Tea Tree or Eucalyptus can also be used.)
- Give warm tisanes of Elderflower and Peppermint
sweetened with honey in the early stages to encourage perspiration.
