Home Remedies for Children's BEDWETTING
- Try to discover whether 'your child is worried; if
so, offer plenty of reassurance. If he wets the bed, change the sheets swiftly without making a fuss. Leave clean bedding and clothes out for older children so they can change themselves with a minimum of fuss.
- Avoid foods or drinks containing stimulants or
diuretics, such as cola drinks, as well as white sugar and food colourings, especially orange.
- Add Chamomile or Lavender to your child's night-
time bath.
Appropriate number of drops for Bath: Age Bath Newborn to 2 months 1-2 drops 2 to 6 months 1-2 drops 6 to 12 months 2-3 drops 1 to 5 years 2-3 drops 5 to 7 years 3-4 drops 7 to 12 years 4-5 drops
- Make an infusion of Chamomile, Marshmallow Root
or St John's Wort. Warm and sweetened with honey to taste.
Recommended dosage Newborn to 2 years 1 teaspoon 2 to 6 years 2 to 3 teaspoon 6 to 10 years 1 tablespoon
