Home Remedies for Children's ANXIETY
- Touch works wonders for any anxiety condition. A
soothing foot massage is a particularly effective way to comfort a fretful baby.Working both feet at the same time, rub with your thumbs from the centre of the sole of the foot, over the ball and towards the bottom of the toes. Repeat until baby is settled.
You can either do this though baby's clothes or use the following aroma therapy oils: Chamomile and Lavender are particularly soothing; both are safe to use on newborn babies. Add the appropriate number of drops of either essence to an Almond oil base. This aromatherapy oil can be used to massage the feet or can be added to the bath.
