Natural Treatment for Women Sexual Impotence

Home Remedies for Sexual Impotence (Women).

A woman's sexuality is an outward manifestation of the
creativity and passion of her inner self and can be an
avenue for joyful self-expression and self-renewal. Some
women fear that menopause signals the end of their
sexuality. This is especially true if hormonal changes are
causing fatigue or vaginal changes that make sex painful.
Menopause does end your fertile years, but it does not
portend the demise of sexual and sensual pleasure.
Basically, if you enjoyed sex before menopause, then you
will enjoy it afterwards. In fact, many women find that they
have much more satisfying sex after menopause. This is
because the hormonal changes that occur during
menopause serve to enhance, not diminish, sexual
responsiveness.A woman's sexual arousal is dependent on
testosterone (although testosterone is primarily a male
hormone, women also have small amounts).
After menopause, when estrogen and progesterone levels drop, there is a proportionately greater amount of
testosterone, which stimulates a greater enjoyment of sex.

While these hormonal changes have a positive effect on sexuality, during the time that your body is adjusting to
different levels of hormones you may feel fatigued and not particularly interested in sex, especially if you are
suffering from hot flashes and other symptoms that deplete your energy. Declining estrogen levels may also
cause vaginal dryness and thinning, which can make sexual intercourse painful. These symptoms can be
managed with natural remedies, and most women find that their sexual interest returns as their body adjusts to
a new and different hormone balance.

In addition to the physiological changes in your body, your personal beliefs about sex and aging have a profound
influence on how you feel about sexuality and sensuality. This can be a wonderful time for exploring your
sensuality and for discovering what feels good to you. Many women find that menopause brings new
opportunities for sexual and sensual exploration. They enjoy the freedom from worrying about pregnancy, birth
control, and monthly bleeding, and may also have more leisure time for sexual play. Healthy sexuality can bring
love, intimacy, and great sensual pleasure to life, and it is worth cultivating.

You can cultivate sexual and sensual pleasure through meditative exercises, breathing techniques, and herbs,
foods, and essential oils that enhance your experience of sensuality.

    Onion:
Onion is another important aphrodisiac food, second only to garlic. It increases libido and strengthens the
reproductory organs. The white variety of onion is, however, more useful for this purpose.

    Carrot:
Carrots are considered valuable in impotence. For better results, about 150 gm of carrots, chopped finely, should
be taken with a half-boiled egg, dipped in a tablespoon of honey, once daily for a month or two. This recipe
    increases sexual stamina.

    Ginger:
The juice extracted from ginger is a valuable aphrodisiac and beneficial in the treatment of sexual weakness. For
better results, half a teaspoon of ginger juice should be taken with-a half-boiled egg and honey, once daily at
night, for a month. It is said to relieve impotency, premature ejaculation, and spermatorrhoea

    Dried Dates:

in equal quantities, about 100 gm should be taken daily as an effective medicine for increasing sexual power.

    Raisins:
Black raisins are useful for restoration of sexual vigour. They should be boiled with milk after being washed
thoroughly in tepid water. This will make them swollen and sweet Eating of these raisins should be followed by
the intake of milk. Starting with 30 gm of raisins, followed by 200 ml of milk three times dairy, the quantity of
raisins should be gradually increased to 50 gm each time.

    Garlic:
Garlic is one of the most remarkable home remedies found beneficial in the treatment of sexual impotence. It is a
natural and harmless aphrodisiac. According to an eminent sexologist off the United States, garlic has a
pronounced aphrodisiac effect It is a tonic for loss of sexual power due to any cause, and for sexual  debility and
impotency resulting from sexual overindulgence and nervous exhaustion. Two to three cloves of raw garlic should
    be chewed daily.

    Exercises for Increasing Sexual Energy

Exercise in general is important for sexual vitality because it builds endurance, strength, and flexibility. Your body
thrives on movement, and physical activity helps to keep your body balanced and your energy flowing. The more
physically fit you are, the more sexual energy you will have. Vigorous exercise also stimulates the production of
endorphins, the natural brain chemicals that have an uplifting effect on your emotions. However, avoid
overexercising, which can cause fatigue and diminish your sexual vitality. Moderate daily exercise, such as brisk
walking, dancing, or bicycling, that makes you feel energized, but not depleted, is best. Another benefit of
regular exercise is that it helps you feel good about your body, which heightens feelings of sensuality.

    Kegel exercises

To specifically enhance sexual pleasure, practice the Kegel exercises, which strengthen the pubococcygeus (PC)
muscle, the muscle that extends from the pubic bone to the coccyx (tailbone) and is part of the musculature that
supports the internal pelvic organs. Like any other muscle, the PC muscle loses tone if it is not exercised.
Diminished vaginal sensitivity and lessened sexual pleasure can result from lack of muscle tone, as can urinary
    incontinence and uterine prolapse.
These exercises were originally created to help women who were suffering from urinary incontinence by
strengthening the muscle that controls urine flow. Women practicing these exercises experienced wonderful
results-and not just with urinary control. They reported increased pleasure during sex and better and stronger
orgasms. Kegel exercises strengthen the same muscles that contract during orgasm, bring increased circulation
    to the genitals,
improve vaginal tissue tone, and help to increase sexual enjoyment for you and your partner. With regular
exercise of the PC muscle, the entire pelvic region becomes healthier.

To practice Kegels, contract the muscle that you would use to stop urinating in midstream. Hold the contraction
for a count of three, and then release for a count of three. Repeat this ten times. Now rapidly contract and
release the same muscle ten times as quickly as you can. Repeat ten times. You can also practice Kegels lying
down, which strengthens both the PC muscle and the internal organs. Lie on your back with your knees bent and
your feet flat on the floor. Lift your pelvis a couple of inches off the floor and contract the PC muscle. Practice the
sequence of Kegel exercises as described.

While the focus of Kegel exercises is on enhancing sexuality through improving muscle tone, you may also wish
to explore ancient Eastern practices that concentrate on enhancing energy flow. Yoga and tai chi are two
meditative, flowing forms of exercise that promote the free flow of energy throughout the body and help to
relieve stagnation in the pelvic area. Blocked energy can cause lack of sexual interest or difficulty in feeling
sexual pleasure. More esoteric exercises come from ancient Taoist practices that focus on using the mind and
breathing techniques for enhancing energy flow and building sexual energy. Thousands of years ago, the Taoists
created an elaborate system of longevity that included the careful cultivation of sexual energy. They taught that
energy flows throughout the body in channels called meridians and created specific exercises to increase energy
flow and improve the health of the internal organs. Making love in this way returns sexual energy to the
endocrine glands, which nourishes them and encourages the production of sex hormones.

    Ancient Wisdom for Sexual Pleasure

A three-part exercise based on ancient Taoist practices can help you build sexual energy and awareness while
    strengthening your sexual organs.

First, sit in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and pay attention to the flow of your breath as it enters and
leaves your body. As you inhale, expand your abdomen, and as you exhale, draw your abdomen in gently toward
your spine. Breathe rhythmically in this way for several minutes. Regulating your breathing calms your mind,
sharpens your senses, and increases your ability to focus your attention, all of which contribute to heightened
    body awareness.

Second, when you feel relaxed, change the flow of your breathing so that as you inhale, you draw your abdomen
in toward your spine, and as you exhale, you gently expand your abdomen. This reverse breathing generates
energy in the pelvic area. Continue breathing in this way throughout the remainder of this exercise.

The third part of this exercise strengthens the pubococcygeus muscle, the same muscle that you concentrate on
in the Kegel exercises. To strengthen the PC muscle, tighten the muscles of your vagina and anus as though you
are trying to close both openings, draw them up toward your navel, and then relax. Coordinate the muscle
contractions with your breathing so that when you inhale and draw your abdomen in, you are contracting your
vagina and anus, and when you exhale, you are releasing your abdomen and the muscles of your vagina and
anus. Practice this meditative breathing exercise for ten minutes daily to strengthen your internal muscles and
    build sexual energy.

    Herbs for Sexual Enhancement

American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) is a rejuvenative tonic that increases overall well-being and endurance.
It is most effective when taken over a period of several months.

Donq quai (Angelica sinensis) is considered in Chinese medicine to be the premier tonic herb for women. It helps
to bring hormones into balance and regulates the entire reproductive system.

Damiana (Turnera diffusa) grows in the desert areas of Mexico and the southwestern United States. It contains
a volatile oil that gently stimulates the genitourinary tract when it is excreted, which acts to enhance sexual
arousal. It also has mild euphoric and muscle-relaxing properties. Damiana has been used for centuries by
Mexican women who traditionally drink a cup of damiana tea before lovemaking.

The following herbal formula is a long-term energy builder for enhancing sexual vitality. It is best taken for at
least three months or longer. Do not take this formula during your menstrual cycle, because dong quai can
    stimulate bleeding.

    Aromatherapy Treatments for Sexual Impotence

Scent has a powerful effect on the mind and the body and can greatly enhance enjoyment. The sense of smell is
controlled by the limbic system, the part of the brain that is the center for emotions, memories, and sexuality.
Because fragrance directly influences the limbic part of the brain, many essential oils have long been valued as
    aphrodisiacs.

Rose is especially beneficial for women. It helps to balance hormones, has a tonic effect on the reproductive
organs, and enhances sexuality. Psychologically, rose is uplifting and helps to restore a woman's connection to
    her femininity.

Sandalwood induces a state of calmness and serenity and relieves nervous tension. It is considered a sexual
restorative for both women and men and has a rich, deep, woodsy-sweet scent.

Ylang-ylang is deeply relaxing, exotic, and sensuous. It has a rich, intensely sweet floral fragrance that can be
overpowering in excess. Use it in very small quantities-two or three drops at most in a bath.

Patchouli has been used for thousands of years as a sexual stimulant. It also relieves nervous exhaustion. This
ancient fragrance has a rich, deep, earthy, herbaceous scent.

Jasmine relieves nervous tension, has mild euphoric properties, and is said to restore sexual confidence. It has
    an exotic, warm, fruity-floral fragrance.

Clary sage helps to balance hormones. It has sedative, almost euphoric properties and relieves emotional
tension that can interfere with sexuality. It has a deep, sweet, herbaceous fragrance.
