Herbal Cleansing Milk
Milky cleansers are much gentler for your skin than soaps. Making your own herbal cleansing milk is easy. It will stay fresh for one week in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze in ice-cube trays and thaw out a cube as needed.
2 tablespoons calendula flowers 1 tablespoon chamomile flowers 1 tablespoon rose petals 1 cup whole milk
- Combine calendula, chamomile, and rose petals
with milk in a pint-size glass jar. Cover, and steep overnight in the refrigerator.
- Strain through cheesecloth, rebottle, and store
in therefrigerator.
- To use, dampen your face with warm water and
apply cleansing milk with a soft cosmetic sponge. Rinse well with warm water.
