Gentle Cleansing Grains

These cleansing grains gently exfoliate the top layer of
dead skin cells, leaving your skin silky smooth. They also
make an excellent base for facial masks.

2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup almonds
2 tablespoons dried rose petals
2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers

  • In a clean coffee grinder, finely grind the oats,
    almonds, and herbs in separate batches. Mix
    well, and store in a covered container in a cool,
    dry place.

  • To use, mix 1 heaping teaspoon of cleansing
    grains with enough warm water to make a creamy
    paste. If your skin is dry, add 1/2 teaspoon
    almond oil.

  • Gently massage the mixture into your skin and
    rinse well with  warm water.

  • Follow with a toner and moisturizer.
