This is special Aromatherapy ointment recipe for Ringworm
30g unperfumed skin cream 5ml calendula tincture 4 drops myrrh essential oil 8 drops lavender essential oil 4 drops lemongrass essential oil
Put the unperfumed skin cream into a little glass pot, then stir in the tincture and essential oils until thoroughly mixed. Apply three or four times daily
Aromatherapy Lotion for Scalp Ringworm
1 tablespoon cider vinegar 200ml distilled (or cool boiled) water 5 drops tea tree essential oil 2 drops peppermint essential oil 5 drops lavender essential oil
Put the cider vinegar into a dark glass bottle, add the essential oils and shake well. Top up with distilled water and shake again. Gently massage this mixture into the scalp twice a day; including after shampooing.
Aromatherapy Lotion for Scalp and Skin Ringworm
If you have ringworm on both body and scalp, it may be easier to use this dual purpose lotion. Calendula and myrrh tinctures are available from herbal suppliers.
25ml calendula tincture 25ml myrrh tincture
Funnel the tinctures into a dark glass bottle and shake well. For treating ringworm on the body; apply undiluted three times a day (using damp cotton wool). For scalp treatment, add three teaspoons of the tincture to 30ml water and gently massage into the scalp twice a day; including after shampooing.
