Aromatic Vinegar Bath for Sore Muscles
Cider vinegar, as well as being beneficial to the skin, is an age-old remedy for aching muscles. In this recipe its soothing properties are increased with the addition of muscle-relaxant essential oils.
6 tablespoons cider vinegar 2 drops rosemary essential oil 2 drops black pepper essential oil 2 drops sweet marjoram essential oil 2 drops lavender essential oil
Add the vinegar and essential oils to the bath after it has been filled, then swish around to disperse.
Aromatherapy Muscle Oil
15ml virgin olive oil 20mI sunflower seed oil 6 drops sweet marjoram essential oil 3 drops coriander essential oil 3 drops clary sage essential oil 4 drops grapefruit essential oil
Funnel the virgin olive oil and sunflower seed oils into a dark glass bottle, add the essential oils and shake well. Massage into the muscles two or three times daily including immediately after an aromatic bath.
